Ok poor choice of words, just saying it’s ridiculous......  other people violating everyday, fisherman with their own family out by themselves shouldn’t be a priority to stop.
Oh Yeah !

I along with my crew out of the Mt. Tremper Field Headquaters (NYSDEC) are the ones responsible for putting in the State boat docks in Region3. White Lake, Lake Huntington, Narrowsberg, Wallkill River, etc are some of them. As of Friday’s teleconference we are to stand down installing them until further notice. Regions north of us have been installing certain ones.

Thousands of city people running north to buy houses, say in weekend houses and renting Air B and B's which was all but encouraged is why we are increasing cases here! Total bulloooo overstepping!

Maybe the rentals shouldn't be allowed, but you're saying I shouldn't be allowed to stay at my summer home, that I bought, and pay taxes on? THAT is the bulloooo overstepping!

2nd homes are one thing and I understand the right being a tax payer but containment of a serious infectious virus is #1 rule and should not be spread around from hot zones.  If 2nd home  residents did voluntary 14 day quarantines upon arrival i have no issue but most are getting gas, going to grocery stores and any other area that potentially spread virus into new areas. That being said I feel much stronger about those non 2nd home people in mass exodus renting air B&B or any other short term rental they can get plus those that just pile into friends or family's homes up here. If you don't think the virus spreading north has nothing to do with transient residents up here your sadly mistaken.

Because no one in the Hudson Valley/Catskill area travels into the city, or elsewhere? I know tons of people who live in Dutchess, Orange, and Ulster that work in and around NYC. I even know a guy from Kingston who commutes into NYC a few days a week. Maybe those country people spread it into NYC?

I do not disagree Ruck, the city should have been shut down only essential employees and shipping suppliers in and out. Regional containment goes both ways but please you certainly know NYC was the origin point from travelers foriegn and domestic that brought it to our shores!
