We tried to boat fish Ashokan last Monday.  way too windy so we had to beach the boat and fish from shore.
My son out fished me 4 to 1.  All on the ned rig.

Not sure folks here have heard, but the parking area for permit holders is now open at the Woodstock Dike Trailhead in West Hurley (Gate E-14 near Basin Road). Display your hang tag!  There is an adjoining parking area for those non-permit holders using the Ashokan Rail Trail.  The trail head at Shokan should be opening within a few weeks from what I've heard.

Hey Steve, where have you been throwing spoons? I was thinking about hitting Ashokan tomorrow morning, but I live by the Rondout, and was just wondering if I should make the trip over.

That's where I was going to throw some spoons. I've been throwing spoons at Rondout but so far have only caught Smallies. Sounds like it hasn't been too hot

Trolled Rondout this morning by Trout Creek with spoons and stick/crank baits for a few hours and didn't get a strike.
