No - I didn't fish - I work for the Bureau of Water Supply at Ashokan and the temps reported were from our laboratory samplers - they report in degrees C and I hope I converted to degrees F correctly.

well thank you for providing the temps. If you find that correct temp it becomes pretty easy to catch the browns.

Thanks for the water temp info. I just bought a fish hawk water thermometer last year.

Slow week. Hit Ashokan trolling on Wednesday, 1 smallmouth. Hit Rondout on Thursday and one small laker on saws. Hit Ashokan Friday and Saturday with saws and my friend got two nice browns, 20" 4# and 24" 6lbs 3 oz, a smallmouth and a white perch for me. Switched it up today and went for largemouth, got 6.

How deep does 7 colors run on your setup ? That would be 56 ft. On mine

I figured about 45 to 50 ft. down - my fish finder was showing fish hugging the bottom for some reason - of course it depends how fast you are rowing too. I tried to stay around 60 ft. depth of water - I made the spoon out of a piece of shiny metallic Christmas decoration - you can see it in a couple of the photos.
