thxs for the info .....

what proof do they expect to be turned in for a donated deer?

most of my donations are bow/crossbow so I guess I have to bring the arrow or bolt.....

I eat all the deer I shoot  - or don’t shoot them !
I’ve never donated a deer , or killed an animal just to kill it ….
My rifle season deer or bear are shot with copper jacketed lead core bullets …

My Niebore shoots 3 or 4 deer a year , and gives them all away ..
He doesn’t eat deer !   This pisses me off , he shoots small yearling deer on doe permits .
He rides around on his 4 wheeler and shoots deer from it ..
Then takes pictures, to show what a “ BIG “ hunter he is ..
He has no respect for the animal

On the other hand ;
I do think these venison food donation programs , are good for people in need ,
And so the venison does not get wasted.

you cook good rabbit pilgrim

I don't get up at 4 AM to play catch and release .
