I see how the up right piece can fold down …
Is the rod attached somehow ?
Maybe the coat hanger is attached under the reel seat ?
How do they work ?

Yes fold down wing nut to snug when upright and coat hanger wire through drilled hole just in front of reel seat so they sit up extremely light almost no resistance we use them for walleye and crappie

Also the red paint marks 10 inches for crappie and on the back is a small copper pipe saddle so I can stick needle nose pliers in each one so I can remove hooks faster
