With the full inclusion of crossbows in bow season how many are taking out a crossbow instead of a compound

Crossbow for me.  Love bow hunting, but have a shoulder issue I'm trying to get squared away.

I have vacillated on this one, but I'm probably going to go with the crossbow.
My bow is from the 1980s, and I still shoot it well enough, but it's only 37% letoff, and I am getting 225 fps.  Realistic hunting distance is about 25 yards and in, not because I can't hit further, but slower arrows mean greater time of flight, and deer tend to move.
Besides, I have not filled a tag with a crossbow, so there's that.

I will be out with the compound, but probably will use the crossbow a day or two.

I won it in a raffle (thanks GarySae!) and haven't shot anything with it yet.
