I haven't even opened my camp this year, iam up on lake champlain,  watching the fishing report's. It's not worth it
To me, the lake is very Low making launching difficult,
Large gardens of vegetation floating down the lake.
I like to trol the spine'e water flea's clog up your poll and reel.
Fishing is not fun,like that.

Didn't start to come down hard till I got about 3/4's of the way back, got bad news for everyone,  summer is over, the golden rod, is turning yellow,  the sumac trees are turning red
The hickory nuts are dropping in the road.
You better cover that wood pile,  put your snow tires on, winterize that camper & boat, close up that summer camp,
Pick the last of your tomatoes,  turn the garden over, get those deer rifles sighed in.
Having  trouble uploading pictures

Sumac is turning red because it was in a 95' heat spell with no water, golden rod always has yellow flowers this time of year thus the name, hickory nuts hit the ground because we had 60 MPH winds from a tropical storm, and we just started picking tomatoes and will continue until a hard freeze.  When you farm 24/7 what happens outdoors always has logical reasons and your rifle is always sighted in 8)

59 degrees in the swamp this morning,  and it's supposed to start raining any minute.  Guess I will be going for my walk this morning instead of jumping on my bike. Put my fowl weather gear on. Will see if I can get some pictures this morning.

Got brave, the rain never really got started,  so I jumped on the bike, you can see the road didn't even get wet were the trees cover the blacktop. Seen 8 deer 6 in one field and two by someone's house. Cut my ride short, just incase. I'll be out in the woods soon getting my sd cards from my trail cams
Sorry I can't post the pictures in this quick reply.

64 degrees in the swamp this morning muggy. Waiting for my coffee pot to boil, then I'll fill my bird feeders,  and jump on my bike, for my morning exercise.
