Got Tuna

Was invited to go on a tuna trip with some good friends on board with Canyon Runners Sport fishing. It was a blast  had a great time with lots of laughs, good food, beer and good fishing. 27 hour trip.  Trolling for these torpedoes was something thats been on my bucket list all my life. We ended up with 10 yellow fin all keepers. These fish fight like u cant believe it almost takes the fun out of the trip. lol  Your arms burn from the second you get on the rod till u get them into the boat.

Great fun there ...
I know it is hard to believe, how hard a 50 lb. tuna can pull !!!
They are all fight ... and will drag you to the back of the boat ..till your arms ache..
Any sharks ?

Looks like a great trip. Tuna steaks are fantastic. People pay a lot of money per pound for that treat.

Looks like you had a great trip.  I've run the canyon 2 times in my life-- it's about time to go again.  Nothing like hearing the crack of an outrigger followed by the scream of a Penn International.  Good Bull!
