You're right....it's not the best angle.

Looking at the partial view  of the first molar, it appears to be a 3 1/2 year old, but I'd want to see a better shot from the side, not the top down view. 

If you get a chance to clean it off the skull, send a side view of the lower jaw and I'll be able to confirm it for you.

Thanks Mr. Henry, The deer you aged with the crummy camera angle was 140" so being a 3.5 yr old, Thats awesome news! The buck will be brought to Brownie very shortly so hopefully well be able to get you a better view  thanks again!

This deer is a 2 1/2 year old. All the inside cusps on the lower jaw show very little wear.
