Got the call today , my gun card is ready to pick up ….
Only took 103 days :-( ..
Oh well , now my ffl will have to dig thru his safe full of these guns to find mine ..
Good thing he doesn’t charge storage fees :-)

That's nuts I moved to Tioga county four years ago never had a second handgun have had my permit for over 10 years today I went to a local shop picked a gun went to sheriff's office and did paperwork she put the semi auto rifle permit as well as the new handgun and also removed my restrictions went back to shop picked up the new handgun all within an hour

I recalled this thread and went back to reread it. Doing so reminded me of the '70s and '80s when people waited 2+ years to get a restricted handgun permit in Ulster County...  I recently had the occasion to add a gun. From the time I submitted the paperwork to the call today that the amendment was ready was, as I recall, 15 calendar days. The extreme variance mentioned in this thread is troubling...

Yea , I don’t get why the delay could vari that much …
My ffl told me last week that he’s holding handguns now for 2-3months , awaiting paperwork from judge
Congrats on your timely success, but I don’t understand who’s accountable

In my case the pistol permit office , didn’t send my application to the judge for almost 2 months
