New to the site, received a msg from a member to add myself in here.
Most people refer to me online as Recked.  Live in the rondout school district.
Have not done much hunting or fishing in a number of years but I used to really enjoy both.
Looking to get back into outdoor activities.

Hi all, I have lived in saugerties area for over 25 years and I love to hunt and fish.
Mostly fish for bass and trout, bowfish for carp and started catching stripers on the river this year too. (got skunked for four years)
I like hunting all small game from snipe to yote, most with a single shot shotgun.
I also bow hunt in the catskill Mtns.
found the site by looking for info on shokan fishing.

I grew up in Orange county but moved to Georgia in 1987. Moved to Tennessee in 2009 and back to NY in 2010. I own and operate a nuisance wildlife control company. I hunt and fish and owned a taxidermy shop in Georgia.

Welcome to all the new members. :)
if you properly respect what you are after, and shoot it cleanly and on
the animal's terrain,if you imprison in your mind all the wonder of the
day from sky to smell to breeze to flowers—then you have not merely
killed an animal. You have lent immortality to a beast you have killed
because you loved him and wanted him forever so that you could always
recapture the day - Robert Ruark

Dominic, live on Long Island, do a little hunting up in Schoharie County at my parents place and bass fish all over. Mainly CT lakes, Mahopac, Whaley, etc. I have a 19' Ranger and a 10' pond boat.
