Howdy!

I'm Ghostbow. I work in the archery and outdoor departments at Kenco with Doublecluck.

Been shooting barebow recurve for more than thirty years.   (hunter)   I also love canoeing (another true passion of mine), kayaking, hiking and camping.  I'm also a primitive and traditional wilderness skills instructor.

I'm not much of a gearhead anymore, other than my inextinguishable love for knives, bows and arrows.

I'm super-psyched about being here.  I've met so many great members already and look forward to meeting even more of you moving into the future.

Shoot straight.  Peace out.

Ghost

I'm Robbie, Heard about the site via a friend's friend at work.  I am an avid salt water fisherman, especially targeting stripers.    Also do some fresh water fishing, but saltwater is my favorite.  Fish where ever - often - Hudson River, Connecticut, New Jersey, then depending on vacation at: , Rhode Island, Mass, Virginia and sometimes Outer Banks NC shores.   Looking forward to forum.  Have not been out yet for stripers on Hudson this year yet.  Noticed couple of weeks ago, someone caught small striper at Piermont  and that noone was fishing a Croton.

Hi, I am new to this site. I live in New Jersey and am a fresh water fisherman or should I say that I entertain fresh water fish. I normally fish lakes and reservoirs in NJ and am looking to move out into New York and other states as the fishing in NJ is marginal at best. While I enjoy bass fishing, I also enjoy chasing "toothy" fish as my fishing partners call northern pike and walleye.
I am considering trying the Hudson for stripers this year and found your website and thought I might learn new places and new approaches to fishing and tips on river fishing.
I own a 16' Lund that is 20 years old with a 25hp Suzuki and an 8hp Yamaha kicker. I have 2 electric downriggers and a bow mounted trolling motor.
While I live in NJ, I spend a fair amount of time in the Hudson Valley as I travel from NJ north to Poughkeepsie regularly selling chemicals.
As I turned 69 yesterday, I am thrilled to be a "newbie" It has been a long time since I was called that. I do not do a lot of posting but will when I have questions or can be a real contributor.
Thanks to FLAG for the welcome. I look forward to learning a lot from all of you.
