Hello all! I have been lurking here for some time and have not introduced myself.  Name is John and live in Ellenville.  I hunt and fish as often as possible (much to the detriment of my wife's mental state) and find myself checking this site way too much.  Loads of information here and thanks to all who provide it.

Thanks all.  The deer is this years bow from Gardiner side of the mountain, 16 inch inside 8 point and big body, I would guess 3.5 years old but didn't age it.  I grew up there and have been hunting the land for 30+ years and have never seen anything like the last couple of years for deer size and condition, ya gotta love the antler restriction!
I have tried to get my wife into it but she has no interest in pulling the trigger.  She likes fishing once in awhile though.

Hi guys and gals,I've been checking this site out for awhile and figured it was about time to introduce myself. My name is Bruce,45 years young,live in High Falls,been in the area my whole life,mostly West Hurley where I grew up. My wife thinks I have too much gear for the outdoors;I have 4 bows,2 compound,2 recurves,4 rifles, 12 fishing poles and 2 tackle boxes. I think I still have room to grow,LOL. This is a great site.
