So I'll start by saying I have no direct experience with them.
That said, I'll add on a little. I worked for a few years at Ramsey Outdoor Store in Paramus NJ, in the fishing department, and we sold those Tony Maja bunker spoons. They sold well, cause we were always restocking them. We had one customer that would have one of the guys working there set up his rods and reels with wire line and mono leaders, and he'd troll the lower Hudson, the bay, and the East River for stripers using those spoons. I remember talking to him, and he swore that the East River was big fish territory, but he'd lose more rigs to all the junk in the river, than he'd catch fish in there. That guy would have our guy redo his combos a few times during the spring, and he'd have lots of pictures of very big stripers with the city in the background whenever he came in.
