    I had a blast flat-lining with a long-billed Taildancer (firetiger color) in the Rondout creek this afternoon . . . I caught 7 fish up to 25" . . .

Nice Ziffy. I see more fish on the graph in kingston this week. Got a 43" fish last night will be good soon.

Grandson James got his first ever Striper. Then proceeds to get 3 more. Papa couldn't be happier.

First year fishing for Stripers in the Hudson in over 30 years. I have a temporary slip at Whites in New Hamburg. Have been fishing locally drifting bloodworms with limited success. Not sure what to expect but it has not been as productive as fishing the long Island Sound.

i know people who have been catching decent Stripers right in front of your Marina ....... that's where I'll be ending up this weekend  ....

Finally put some hours in on the water and landed some good fish.  That was while dodging the storms !   Saw some really good screens around Kingston but the bite was tough.  Even managed to get a 27  7/8" slotty !
     Looking forward to a ravenous bite once these rains pass. Tight lines !
