April 1st trout season

April 1st is coming soon anyone have any plans for the opener seems the striper guys are counting it down I usually hit the banks of rondout res or some small backwoods streams just wondering

Now that I live west of cannonsville I will focus on reservoirs closer to here but i  now fishing fingerlakes where it’s open all year

I just put in for some PTO to fish the 1st.  My wife is already off and we made it out last april 1st so starting a little tradition. Will be hitting some tailwater with spinners and spoons
