Colorado today stopped giving them because of a big problem with side affects

1 site “paused” vaccinations in Denver because 11 people got dizzy and nauseous. Not the entire state.

Got my first shot last week.  Pfizer.
I have to say I would usually wait  for a few years to see if a vaccine is safe.

The fact that even if you survive covid , you could have long term effects,
made the decision easy for me.

My second shot of Moderna was not to bad. Shot on Friday, Saturday late evening massive headache and arm a bit sore. Next day headache was gone and had a few days of feeling g lethargic. All in all was not bad.

I go for my second Moderna shot on Thursday.  Might just call in sick Friday and ride out whatever happens at home.
I hear some say they felt nothing, but a lot more say the second was worse than the first for Moderna.
I hope it's nothing for me.
Time will tell.

So I got my second Moderna vaccination on Thursday at about 12:30pm on my lunch break from work.  No issues that day, and I played pool that night with no issues then either.  Got home at a bit after midnight and had chills and sweats alternating all night long.  At about 4:00am I started feeling nauseous and called work to take a sick day for Friday.  It felt like a bad hangover all day Friday up until about 4:30-5:00pm.  Felt achey and lethargic, occasional nauseousness, and a mild headache.  Friday night was a more mild version of the sweats and chill;s, but woke on Saturday with no further after effects.  For me, the second injection was much worse than the first, and made the following day pretty miserable.
But it's done now, and unless they start talking about needing some kind of booster shot like they're talking about with other vaccines, it's all behind me.

Time to go fish!

Good for you Ronnie, as you know your 90-year-old mom had no problems Gena, and I had no problems. You should be fine.. Good luck. The first time I went they had to shoot me 2 times they forgot to put the medication in the first one. The nurse felt so bad that he did that, I said no big deal..hit me again..lol

People are skipping the second shot but there are a lot of reasons to not skip it...
