Got my first shot of Moderna on Good Friday. Scheduled the second shot later in April.

Some of us seniors with underlying health conditions, take this virus very seriously..   I personally know people whom have lost love ones to covid 19...

Got my shot shot today. J & J. I don’t feel in danger of the virus itself for me personally but I don’t want to pass the virus to someone with underlying conditions.
Well said muskrat.

A friend of mine lost his mom 2 weeks ago and his dad on Monday both to COVID. Both were in their 60s. It’s unbelievable that they were both still working just a few weeks ago and now both are gone. Being sick for a day or two because of a side affect is a chance worth taking in my opinion. No side affect for me other than being a little tired.
Cool to see a lot of guys on this site getting the vaccine.

I received both Moderna vaccines, the second one was about a month ago. I did have some side effects, sore leg muscles after the second shot. A small inconvenience when compared to getting sick, being on a respirator or worse.
I can’t say for sure the soreness was from the shot, I’m getting old too!

My Mother is almost 90, I felt like I had to get the shots to do as much as I can to keep her from getting the virus. She received both Moderna shots too, she had no side effects.

I got my second Phyzer shot Monday morning. I was fine up until I went to bed that night. I then had the chills and a bad headache for 24hrs. I guess my immune system did not like that second one. My wife had no bad reactions to her second Moderna. Everyone in my close circle is now fully vaccinated.
