Ashokan last night

Friend of mine went fishing on ashokan wednesday and found a school of white perch. managed to catch 30 in one hour.

Thought it would be fun for the kids. the white perch fight good.  We didn't do as well , but managed to jig up 15 fish.
And my son jigged up a nice smallmouth.

Great stuff but I really wish people would stop putting white perch in places like that they destroy way to many other fish eggs

Well said Ken, when I was a kid I don’t ever remember catching white perch in there, yellows yes but not whites.

I did not know that.  I'll make sure to keep as many as a catch.
