Alot of stripers spawning in Kingston area today and water temp. is only 56.6 degrees!!

I saw some serious spawning action up near Glasco yesterday afternoon. My son was trying to catch one on some top water lures

Love to see it Billy it brings back so many memories when i use to take my kids down at the same spot 25 years ago. Memories you or your kids will never forget.

Went out today very hard to get herring from shore had 1 run in 7 hours of fishing, herring are done spawning only very few huge herring left around I fear the season is pretty much of by this weekend

Alwieves spawned blue-backs just got here and so did a fresh push of fish.  The spawn we saw was from the early arrives before weather went screwy. We have another week 10 days of fishing might just need to hunt for them a bit more. Up north has not spawned yet so all those fish will still need to come back south.

Blueback herring are being caught on sibikis (I had 2 quadruples yesterday on the same line and caught my limit in 20 mins.
I also had a real nice fish on at out going yesterday evening that popped the hook as I reached for the net. . . I think Tippin Scales is accurate with his summation
I will stop fishing when the white fuzzies start coating the surface of the water . . .
