Snuck out for a quick p.m. hunt, asked my son to go but declined.  Of course out comes a young 8 point at 4pm.... he milled around and I got some video of him at 15y wishing my boy was in the blind instead :'( to shoot his first buck.

Out this morning with the crossbow. Jumped a doe on the walk in, anither doe cruise by me at 15 feet around 10, and I  decided to let her walk. Statrted raining so I packed up and jumped something on the way out, and 30 feet from my truck were a four and a doe bedded on the shoulder of the road.

If it stops rainig I may head out with the rifle this aftrenoon.

Day 8 . Got a nice doe yesterday am so hopefully my boy can get one this am . Gonna sit with him and enjoy the time spent together. Good luck everyone!
