You know what they say about a bird in the hand. I shoot the first legal buck i see,relish it and enjoy it.Spend the rest of the season cooking for every body keeping the camp warm and clean.Drinking some good bourbon,waiting to hear everyones adventure for the day.This will be my 58th season.hope you get what makes you happy.

All nice bucks shoot what you want it's your tag I have taken enough that I am a little more likely to hold out for something bigger a 2 year old doesn't tempt me as much these days

I'm starting to see bucks on my trail cameras now too. 
Always had does and younger ones, and a few small spikes, but now starting to see deer with antlers bigger than their ears.

This past week my cameras had lots of bucks but I have sat 10 times and have not seen as much as a doe crazy for our farm

I'm seeing more and more antler activity on my cameras, but the only one I've seen live was one that walked under my ladder stand at about 6:20pm this weekend.  It was <10 yards, but too late for me to take a shot.  I'm no fan of tracking or anything else in the dark, so I just enjoyed the encounter. 

Hoping that they're starting the daytime activity by me now too.

I'm a furloughed federal employee and have been out more than usual and haven't seen much activity but did start finding scrapes and rubs this week .... I see some chasing/seeking on cameras towards sundown but not much https://youtu.be/hFah7-EEvWI ..... good luck
