Same here.  Had deer around me a few times, including three that were inside of 20 yards, but all does as well.  Beautiful morning though.
Was out in a different stand this morning for a few hours, didn't see any deer, but spotted a heron on the other side of a beaver swamp that was pure white.  That color was the only reason I spotted it, and watched it with binos for a bit.  Definitely a heron, but completely white.

EDIT:  I looked this up on the Merlin Bird ID app, and it apparently was a Great Egret.  It says its a heron, but all white.  Apparently it's not all that unusual, but the first time I've seen one.  We get a lot of Blue Herons, and an occasional Green Heron around the ponds on our property.

I saw a white heron today in a field near Newpaltz..
Maybe an Egret…but big like a heron

I don't get up at 4 AM to play catch and release .
