Looking for advice
« on: November 01, 2020, 11:23:19 AM »
Hey guys

I'm sort of new to striper fishing and I had a few questions for the veteran guys.  I was just up in Mass and we fished for stripers in the bays with top water plugs and did pretty good.  I will probably be doing most of my fishing with a kayak around the Bear Mountain area and I wanted to know if I could fish the same way down here with top water in some bays as I did in Mass?  What size rods, reel and line are you guys using?  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks.
