I’ve only ice fished there and we did pretty good with the Walleye, but that was about 2-3 years ago.

I’m planning on going there on Friday. Can you tell me if the DEC had a dock in the water at the state launch when you were there?

Thanks in advance

Ok thanks for the info. Do you know if the marina is open during the week to launch?

I am not sure, I would give them a call.  I haven't been there this late in sept before

I launched at starlight drive . It is a parking lot provided by the energy company.

There is no dock there.  There is a ramp but the water levels are so low , the ramp is totally out of the water.

I parked at the end of the ramp and carried my 12' jon boat the rest of the way.

Seadog, are you saying it would be difficult to launch a 17ft boat with a 115hp motor? We need to be able to back the trailer into the water.

Thanks

I think it can be done.  Just have to back over rocks as the ramp is totally out of the water.
