My first tagged fish.
« on: May 02, 2020, 12:45:16 PM »
Caught a couple keeper size stripers and a couple small ones today including my first tagged fish.  I released the tagged fish and submitted the info online.
Spud your way and stay on top.

Very cool, they should send you info on where it was tagged and when. I caught several back in my saltwater days, at first I didn't know what they were because they were covered in slime, I thought it was some kind of leech or something! Then someone told me and I started reporting them. I remember them being very hard to read. All the ones I caught were tagged in the Hudson off Manhattan.

I caught a tagged striper near Eddyville Falls a few years ago.  Sent it in a got this hat and certificate.  Fish was tagged one year earlier......off Kingston lighthouse.  This guy was unlucky, or maybe he was a river fish ?
