Prayers to Nancy the family and loved ones of Jeffery Stokes.
I liked that man from the day I meant him at Broadhead and we trolled for the day, a full day until we each had what we had that we had went for. There were many long days fighting the weather, some days I couldn’t believe he stayed out and rowed against a power that could take your life. He showed me a lot and I have a 14 pound brown taken 25 years ago and Jeff that day caught one the weighted 13.5 not a bad day for two guys fighting the wind. Two different guys in ways but came together to meet a challenge. I will miss him. When they speak about fishing men, my thoughts go to Jeffery Stokes and will until it doesn’t matter anymore. If the good lord needs a man to produce fish fit the congregation, well he chose his captain with care.
Rest In Peace Captain
Rest In Peace Jeffery
