I was at the marina today , on the rondout ,and watched a guy catch a small striper ..
Fish was about 20 inches , and released. Blood worm 🪱
Water is chocolate brown .
you cook good rabbit pilgrim

I don't get up at 4 AM to play catch and release .

     Went out on the boat up by Eddyville Falls and jigged the old familiar spots.  No herring yet ,water temp still  in the upper 40's.
     Proceeded to the park on the Hudson and threw a stoolie for bit. Nothing.
     Just thought I'd share.  You're not missing out on anything yet !  Tight lines everyone!
