Got Turkeys??
« on: March 27, 2026, 09:17:21 AM »
I haven't seen or heard any turkeys in my woods (Olive Bridge area) or anywhere driving around - has anybody seen any turkey flocks?

I have a few small flocks that I see occasionally by me.  There are two larger birds with short beards that are always together right now, the other small flocks all seem to be hens.

Not many trappers anymore to help control predators,
Coon , possum , skunks , coyotes and fisher all love turkey eggs
I don’t know how they survive as well as they do

I haven't seen any in all my areas.
Ran into a forest ranger over the weekend, asked if they were seeing any turkeys in their travels and they hadn't either. Troubling!!
