WIND
« on: April 18, 2025, 11:45:57 AM »
The only thing I hate more than boat trailers is wind .... I learned about this wind site https://www.windfinder.com/#3/39.5000/-98.3500/spot from a Long island fisherman  https://www.youtube.com/@JohnSkinnerFishing ... I know there's others out there but wanted to share this 1 .....

This is what I use, I find it more accurate than the Weather Channel or similar. There is one called Windy too, it's basically the same thing.

Nice site!  I'm saving that one.

So the color coded key on the left, it looks like the old ROY G BIV system, top to bottom, with the Red being highest wind speed, and the Violet being lowest......am I reading that correctly?

"True Heaven can be found between the skin
and bones of a properly prepared Striped
