PAPER LICENSE
« on: September 16, 2024, 01:04:22 PM »
im not gonna debate NYs paper license concept but where i come from its usually wet bloody dirty and im sweating all over everything and not sure how a paper tag is suppose to survive .... they still expect a tag on the animal ...... "It is your responsibility to protect your license and tags, so they remain intact and legible including when attached to an animal" .....

I was gonna laminate it all but seemed like a lot of work ....

instead i got some waterproof tearproof paper from amazon  and can only find it for a laser printer ..... not cheap but seems durable like the old licenses were .....

I got my license at my local town clerk’s office in Rosendale
They bought similar water proof paper and printed out all licenses  on that ,
At least someone is trying to do it right …

"Good morning Frank, unfortunately we do not have a laser printer in our office.  But the state does have the option to buy and print your license from home. Have a great day."

i was just going to keep them in a zip lock bag, but the weatherproof paper is a good idea
