At 11:30am today Nassau Co. Legislator Joshua Lafazan and Democrat legislators will announce new “gun violence prevention” legislation named after Scott J. Beigel, a Long Island native who was killed in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School massacre four years ago on this day in Parkland, Florida, Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building (Front Steps), 1550 Franklin Avenue, Mineola.
