I know that we need the rain but this is getting to be a little much now……Haven’t been smallie fishing or been able to get near the creek since mid June……streams and ponds are taking a beating too.

The erosion along the shoulder of my street is getting bad... the pavement is being undermined. They filled in the washout with crushed stone after the bad storm a couple weeks ago but the damage from last night's storm is worse. Rather than crushed stone I think they need rip rap in the short run and a proper storm water project in the future! I'd venture that a kid could have kayaked down the road during those storms... not me, I'd drag.  :)

I know people who live on GSL in Mayfield and Broadabin so many boats, jetski kayaks and other stuff breaking free from the storms up there. A few weeks ago it was 21 days of rain in 23 days. My daughter's future in laws had their dock and boat break free because of water levels.
