Great White in the Sound

[Redfish]

     Took my boat to Niantic Sunday and fished Sea Bass etc. Great bite.  Around noontime a 8 foot shark breached in front of us and jumped completely out of the water.  It was insane.  My mate said let's get out of here!  It was jet black and had a massive thick body.  We saw some seals near the powerplant but NEVER expected to witness something like this !
     I need to get a dashcam.  Huge mountain buck on Minnewaska at 5 AM... huge shark in Ct after noon...it was quite a day.  Exhausted.  If it was easy everybody would be doing it.

I was in Niantic also ( I didn’t see the shark tho)
I caught 4 keeper fluke to finish up the season on fluke and  limited on black seabass. . .

Sounds like a gr8 day on the water Red!)

Can’t wait for blackfish to open!
