Anyone catching Fall Run Stripers?
« on: October 28, 2020, 05:43:50 PM »
I've tried lures, trolling with downrigger, and even brine cured frozen herring chunks  - Nothin but catfish - wondering if anybody has caught or accidently caught any stripers this fall? - water temp was 58 at last check - I know they're just little schoolies, but would like to catch a few - any tips would be appreciated.  I was marking  suspended fish in the channel earlier in October, but now they're not even there.  I've tried the creeks with lures, and chunk fishing at anchor - nothin.

Thanks for the tip - I caught one 16" striper on a crank bait during outgoing tide at the suck holes (railroad overpass bridge) last Sunday - made my day!
