Yes . . . that is correct . . . it doesn’t really change anything for me because for years now, I have not kept a fish under 25 inches anyway . . .  so my slot window has been 25 to 28 inches.
   I was lucky enough to catch 3 in the slot so far this season. . . we’re having Striper Tacos for Cinco de Mayo dinner tonight . . .  I get the cheeks!!

Slow start for me this year.  Someone hit me head-on and totaled my truck to start the season. Luckily I was not too badly injured. Borrowed a truck to launch the boat and we're on the fish!

Took my nephew BIllys kids out Billy always took them so I got to carry on the tradition. They fished and caught bait for 7hrs they all fought and landed nice fish..
