Last early season, my brother and I’s bear areas were void of sign and food so this year when we found a little bit of sign and plenty of food, had a good feeling about it. Didn’t get much time to hunt until these last few days after work. I slowly crept around the woods hitting the area at different angles but stopping a lot for long periods of time considering I was getting in the woods around 5pm the last few nights. Anyway, I was looking up hill and this little guy snuck in behind me and stopped at an oak tree that I took note of on the way up. I slowly turned around and let him have it. Bear burgers are in my near future
