So just wondering what people thought about the holiday hunt this year? did you get out and hunt? Do you like it or dislike it?

It matters not to me , I did not hunt it ..
I think we have a very generous season as is , without this holiday season ..

I liked it and hunted it. Allowed me more time in the woods than my schedule would have allowed otherwise. It also gives families with kids in school and college an opportunity to get out and hunt together during their winter breaks... important to keep them engaged so we don't loose them!

According to what I read the holiday season was 10 percent of the take last year so obviously it's a good thing

I am a supporter. Gave me an additional opportunity to hunt with my kids during the school break.

If others enjoy it, that's great. Not for me.

Said I was going to go but didn’t. If it allows the college kids and family’s that don’t live in the area to hunt with their families, I’m for it. We do have a long season……Basically 3 full months of deer hunting.
