This is what ive been doing pretty much nights after work. 100' stone wall thats replacing a old cement retaining wall holding up the driveway. Ive used just about 10 pallets of stone 40+ bags of mortar and im just a tab over half way. lol. Thanks to DXT he saved me a lot of pre work for the base with his tractor.

Looks good. I saw all the pallets of stone in your yard. Thought you were building a chimney at first.

Looks like it's coming out good Ron. One on two- two on one- one on two- etc....and so it goes. It always makes me wonder when I look at the miles of stone wall fences around the countryside how long it took to make.

I saw a couple pallets of rocks at the end of his driveway this week. Looks like he still has some work to do. Come on Ron.... deer season is almost here

Its sure a project that takes alot of time and if i new how much i problaby would have just poured a wall. Im down to the last 20' or so and should have it finishe up in the next couple weeks.

Finished the great wall of old rt 209..lol Finished it up last night started it back in may pretty much worked on it nights after work. 100+ bags of mason mix 14 pallets of stone. Now i just have to move 3 pallets of stone to my back yard and do some finish work.

Looks great Ron. Lots of labor there. I’m up on Cuttler putting in the last of 3 forest preserve parking areas around Lundys. Lots of target shooting going on there.
