I threw spoons from shore at Ashokan Oct 24th - 9 smallies  and again on Oct. 29 - 3 smallies  - none were real impressive, still green and nothing more than 17" - no trout followers

Nice Brown - at least we know they're up in the upper levels cruising the shallows - well done!  The Dividing weir gates are open now and the west basin has filled up - so maybe get the boat out and troll

I've been getting some small browns trolling up towards the weir. How's the action at the wall been, any reports? I've been seeing a bunch of guys fishing up there last few days.

9 browns and 12 rainbows last three trips trolling the upper basin ( Thursday, Friday, Sunday) , went to the Esopus yesterday got five rainbows and three browns including a nice 17" reservoir run spawning male. Fish are biting, two weeks left!

Good job geno its sure nice when you get into them bigger browns on the esopus. Ill be making a few trips over there this week myself.

Ended the season trolling outta Traver Hollow , got three browns (21", 19", 14") and two rainbows ( 15", 16") , got a little windy so went to the Chimney Hole with eggs and got two small browns and a rainbow. Till next year.
