I'm in the market for a new hang on stand or two for this season I went the climber route a few years ago and hate it.So back to a hang on and sticks we go I've heard negatives and positives about pretty much every brand known lol and I'm not really sure how believable online reviews are that being said I'm looking for some real world experience that can relate to my situation. I'm a bigger guy at 6foot 265lb so I'm not a squirrel by any means something roomy is a must up to 300lb capacity. My stands go up once and down once a season so stand weight to me isn't really a issue. Thanks guys

Have 2 XOP hangons. Both are descent stands IMO, one bigger one smaller. Light weight and easy to hang. Ali

I've been eyeing the xop as well the only thing I see to be concerning is the platform design looks like it would be a ice rink if it got wet. Any input on that ?

Never had a problem with ice or snow.

i have a MUDDY that feels like I'm gonna fall off when putting the seat down and my dimensions are a bit smaller than yours .... definitely test drive somehow b4 buying .... its lonely up there in a tree in a small hang on ....

I was hoping you were going to chime in on this since you spend lots of time in a tree during the season it seems. I've checked thru muddy's selection and I just don't see anything that catches my attention. I'd like to spend the money on something that will last me 20 years. I've been really interested in family traditions line up but they seem to sell strictly thru licensed dealers none who are even remotely close to us

I’d look into millennium stands. The seats are very comfortable and can purchase extra receiver brackets, so you can move the stand around to different areas.
