That’s a good one. There’s still good deer around, even in the areas that were hit hard. To me it seems, the bigger bucks, have a better chance at escaping the disease. Just a theory, but the older bucks tend to keep away from the majority of the herd, where I think EHD spreads more readily. Still, it’s tough to hunt areas, not knowing the full extent of damage, an area took.
