Title: Fur
Post by: WEM144 on January 17, 2022, 07:58:33 AM
Any active trappers ?  Just curious to hear about coyote / fisher numbers etc.   The amount of coyote activity on my cell cameras ( not on public land ;)  is out of control. Im curious to know if everyone is seeing increased numbers etc…..

Know a few people trapping. Actually catching some fur, some coyotes but more fox. Fur isn't paying much but trapping is a good management tool.

No lack of coyotes by me . They trip my security camera at my house often ..
Usually around 4 am ... they run around my house yipping and barking ...
I think they are looking for my Niebore's cat ...

That is a lot of hard work.  Looks like it's not their first dance with all of the well handled fur.  18 fisher--good bull!  I wonder how many turkeys are saying thank you?
