anyone know what the ice is like on lake george?

I do not know personally but I check out Iceshanty pages for latest info on lake conditions if I am going to be traveling.  The LG thread is very active with info https://www.iceshanty.com/ice_fishing/index.php?topic=230074.11670

A friend tells me that the bays have about 10" of ice on them, and are safe. He did not know how much was out on the main lake. But he did tell me that the perch bite was really good.
