COLD & WARM WATER FISHING / Re: Leadcore

Ive used Suffix in the past and dont remember any issues with it. I also use 12 lb. on my rigs. Maybe they had a bad run of it ?? I did have a problem years ago of the line breaking on me or so i thought. After looking at my poles a bit closer the  end guide had worn out from use and was cutting the line on me. That wasnt Suffix line though.

Iíve been thinking about switching to the Tuf Line Iíve heard a lot of guys using it. but the 15lb. I have used the suffix 18lb and donít want to go that heavy. I like the sensitivity of the smaller lines

COLD & WARM WATER FISHING / Leadcore

To my fellow leadcore trollers on the reservoir, what brand lead do you use? The past few years Iíve been running Suffix 832 advanced 12lb. But this year Iíve been having a ton of issues with it. Kinks, frays, lead splitting, and twice now this year Iíve had my leadcore snap off on a big fish before my 10lb leader or any knots fail. And this lline was brand new at beginning of this season. Thinking about trying something different. Any input? Thanks
