+1 And sorry to say it but this is Basement Joes fault for being such a weakling, he literally said that this was going to happen, and it is. Very sad times we are living in, brace yourselves for 7$ a gallon gas, and inflation like we’ve never seen before. 🤬

How do you think Trump would have handled it when he's praising Putin's move:

#1----Trump is not in office so why have a thought of how he would have handled it?
#2----You need to consider the source of where the insight of the news that you are following is coming from--NPR is slightly left of CNN.

No, NPR news is center, not left leaning as CNN is.   Fox News reported the same quote from Trump.  I read a lot of news sources and try to not base my opinions on heavily biased sources.

Allsides Media Bias Chart that you reference says at the top of their chart,"all ratings are based on online content only-not TV, print, or radio content."  NPR is National Public Radio and IMO have radio hosts/shows that are very far left bias leaning. I'm only judging from their radio content and have not read their online content, it may be different.

Read his actual complete statement. Listen to the audio! He wasn't praising him. Putin recognized the two areas in question so he had a reason to "protect his fellow Russians" from the Ukrainians. He (Putin) was justifying whatever he did. He (Trump) was being Sardonic! The guy is from Queens! This is one way of making a point.

Trump, also said this. However, you’d never see this reported or shown on the mainstream media. If Putin wasn’t allowed to weaponize the energy supplies in Europe which is a smart move, none of this would have happened.

As Trump said, “it’s not that Putin is so smart , but our leaders are so stupid”

You guys think gas and oil are bad, just wait till you see your food bill in a year. Ukraine is the bread basket of Eastern Europe and it's hard to farm with bullets flying around.  To top it off with WW111 starting the left in this country thinks that global warming is our biggest problem.  Look at the grain futures -- they tell the story.  My heart is heavy thinking about the people of Ukraine and the suffering that is forced on them by war mongers and global thugs.  Russia Sucks!

Would never have happened if Trump was president! That’s a FACT. Putin views Biden as weak just as he did with Obama. Putin is correct on both accounts.
Current situation is terrible and difficult for sure and unfortunately we have an incoherent fool for a president! His astonishing ability to make terrible choices isn’t going to be good for us or anyone else.

Putin started building up his invasion force on the Ukrainian border THREE months after this administration took over.... after 4 years of no conflict under Trump, it’s safe to say had the administration stated the same, this wouldn’t have happened .

Biden has Been an absolute nightmare. Gas is about to triple,  and these fools still refuse to get back to energy independence. Then the Afghan debacle, soaring inflation, from dumping 1.7 trillion into a recovering economy, now possible www3 on the horizon... dear lord,  let us make it three more years

We do live in the best country in the world.  If we were to post this in say China, or mother Russia, it would cost us 10 years in a government run crowbar hotel or worse.

With the risk of sounding like I don't care about the people of Ukraine (couldn't be further from the truth), it is now planting time for the Ukrainian farms that are mostly located in the Eastern part of the country.  This may sound off topic with the war killing so many people outright but realize that Ukraine is usually a significant producer and exporter of agricultural products that feed its people as well as the world. In 2021 alone they exported $27 billion of food to 27 nations that comprise the EU, China, India, etc.  No Farms, No Food.  People are going to need this food or more are going to die from the lack of it.

100% Appleman Ukraine is a big producer of wheat Also corn I believe. Unfortunately the society we live in has no idea where their food comes from. This country is in big trouble. The old-timers who lived thru the depression knew what struggle was this society today views struggle as having a slow internet connection while waiting on a 5 minute line at starbucks for a 8$ coffee.

We put sanctions on Russia yet were the ones hurting? Its all smoke n mirrors. The Russian dollar is now back to pre war value. They will be just fine. This is what they want, all outside companies to leave an be totally isolated. Create there own credit, coffee, fast food, planes etc

6 primary products in export sales other than what they use domestically:
-5.8 billion corn export
-5.7 billion sunflower seed export
-5.1 billion wheat export
-1.7 billion rapeseed export
-1.3 billion barley export
-1.2 billion sunflower meal export

Yes--all of the numbers are in billions of dollars with a B.  Thats a big pile of food that needs to be planted in the next few weeks.  The wheat and rapeseed was planted last sept-oct and is now in the growth stage but needs to be attended to(fertilizer/weeds/fungus/insects/ect...). These crops don't get planted, grow, or harvest themselves!  In the USA 3% of our population farm to feed the masses.  You need a medical Dr now and then, a priest once in a while, a farmer 3 times a day.  Think about that the next time you eat. The take home message is people are going to need this food and without they may end up very hungry.

Bad situation for sure. This moron we have in office has inflation at 40 year highs, and now it’s going to get worse. Then add in food shortages, and electric costs doubled, how are we going to get through 2.5 more years of this idiot?

The UN just made a public announcement that a world wide food shortage is pending.  UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres said,"malnutrition, mass hunger and famine, in a crisis that could last for years."  These people that are running this show in this country need to go! This deal is for real--not chicken little yelling that the sky is falling.

Do we not produce enough wheat in our country to feed our own ?
Instead of sending 14 billion $ to Ukraine, maybe we should subsidize our own farmers
Give them fuel tax breaks , property tax breaks and what ever it takes to help ..

That makes to much sense…these idiots running this country would rather take a farm field and ruin it with solar panels…this world is upside down.
