I had a few close encounters with the bow so happy to take this guy yesterday on opening day. The dmp doe is my brothers. There was a ton of hunters and hikers in the same woods yesterday but we got in to our far off preset (saddle hunting) spots early. As a relatively newer hunter, it’s awesome to contribute to the gunfire in the morning and talk to other hunters in the parking lot and on the trail. Good luck to everyone on the rest of the season. I have a 3k doe tag that is burning a hole in my pocket now since it’s a pretty hard tag to acquire haha
