We picked out trees and left our sticks and platforms for saddle hunting. By 2pm today we had our set ups and the buck in the truck. Time to find some hot bear sign (hunt)

I heard a few distant shots in morning to the south east of me but none to the west. Apparently EHD here was as bad as it seemed during the summer. The volume of deer in the nearby residential neighborhoods is way down so I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised.

My father took a decent six yesterday am, in 3C

I was able to connect with this big 8 Today in 3A, best of luck everyone stick at it most buck movement i am seeing is between 9am-1pm, odd hrs but they are on their feet
p.s congrats to all the successful hunters, its a ruff year out there

I hunted hard and had a few close calls but did not seal the deal til I had the ol boom stick in 3k. I spent too much time in 3m scouting hoping to find the type of sign I’ve had there in the past. I believe ehd must have hit that area harder than I realized. Similar reports from others I’ve spoke to in the area.
