« on: February 26, 2024, 09:35:32 AM »
Leaving for work this morning I heard the 1st gobble of the year on the hill behind my house. Not a bad way to start a Monday morning. May 1st cant come soon enough!

I haven't heard any gobbling yet, but there are four toms wandering all around my area lately.
I have them on trail cameras, and see them in the fields and up along the driveway frequently.

We chase the geese from around our pond, and that's already started.  I don't want them messing up the area like they do.
Also have dozens and dozens of Robins all around the house lately, lots gathering their nest building stuff.  I've also had a few red wing blackbirds around the feeders this past week.
That group of toms is still around too, so that's good!

I caught some strutting on video last week.  This huge tom was fired up to say the least
