Lead ammo ban bill amended

A-2084A, Prohibits the use of lead ammunition in the taking of wildlife on wildlife management areas, state forests, forest preserves, state parks or any other state-owned land that is open for hunting and on land contributing surface water to the New York City water supply, has been amended and resubmitted to EnCon.

This constitutes an illegal taking when the lands are owned for hunting... Certainly club's own lands "on land contributing surface water to the New York city water supply" even if the land is miles from the reservoirs.

I read the Senate bill twice. There is no rationale in the bill explaining why this is needed and no scientific data to support the bill.
